Flash is a great program, providing a large interface with
multiple options, helping you create the perfect flash animation or game. In
this report I will list some features of Flash with a brief description of what
it is. Flash provides code snippets which are premade scripts, this allows you
to create interactivity, without having to know how to code yourself. Code is
needed to create interactivity and with the use of code snippets, this is made
easy within Flash. Flash allows you to script many things within your
game/animation, such as mute buttons, volume buttons, play buttons and repeat
buttons.
Flash allows you to draw graphics, or simply import them
from other programs such as Photoshop, Flash has a similar drawing system as
illustration which from my personal experience is the best available.
Flash also allows you to import multiple files, such as
bitmaps which can be jpeg, png or even gifs. You can also import video files,
and audio files. Flash allows you to export as well as import; you can export
for multiple platforms, and video
Flash can create different tweens, such as classic tweens
and motion tweens, these are an easy way to create animations, and
alternatively you could create a frame by frame animation.
